Top ten positions for Standing Construct Honda MXGP in MXGP of Sardinia

Standing Construct Honda MXGP has had mixed fortunes at the second round of the world championship MXGP in Sardinia. Due to a crash on Saturday, Pauls Jonass wasn’t fit at all but did damage control and finished tenth overall on the day. Brian Bogers was riding a strong first moto and finished in seventh position. He was determined to do the same in the second moto but due to a problem with his rear brake he dropped all the way back to twentieth position.

Bogers was riding a strong first moto on the demanding sand track. In the warm circumstances he managed to ride a high pace till the end of the race and finished in a strong seventh position. In the second moto he got a set back. He was motivated to score well again but due to a problem with his rear brake he had to lower the pace and finished the race in twentieth position.

Pauls Jonass had a get off in the qualifying heat on Saturday and hit the ground hard with his head. This was bothering him in the motos on Sunday. Despite this he kept fighting and still managed to finish in 12-10 in the motos to finish in tenth position overall.

With these results Jonass sits now in ninth position in the championship. After his set back in the second moto, Bogers ended the day in fourteenth position and is now thirteenth in the championship standings. The team will work hard now to be ready for the next round in Frauenfeld, Switzerland, in two weeks from now.
